My Short Story Appears in Bella Grace Magazine Issue 39

Dear Readers, I am elated to share that I published my first story! “Sometimes I Pretend I’m a Witch” was included in the Spring 2024 issue of Bella Grace Magazine. I have been an avid reader of the quarterly magazine for many years. Focused on the art of slowing down and finding magic in the ordinary, it's quite the unique publication. I've never seen anything else like it. It's been a dream of mine to one day see my own art within its pages. After a couple of submissions to no avail, here we were!

The Bella Grace team did an amazing job pairing my words with three beautiful images. I could not have imagined better visual accompaniment for my story. Reading it in print is truly an ethereal experience. I was thrilled that it also inspired a worksheet that follows the piece with two journal prompts playing with the theme of make-believe.

I am honored to appear alongside such talented writers. Bella Grace never fails to bring me joy. I look forward to reading the new issue with each new season (and even some of their sister publications). They make for wonderful gifts, by the way.
